Montand at the Olympia hall

I was 16 years old when I first saw Yves Montand

at the Olympia Hall in Paris.

My life changed forever on that very day.

It took me

Two national drama schools

A French “Best Actor Award”

Forty two shows on my way

To dare to sing Montand outside of my bathroom.

Those ditties that give you everything with three times nothing :

piano, top hat, two or three tap routines :

A three minutes trip that makes you feel on top of the world.

This show is my own personal tribute to those French ditties that made me love Jazz, of course, but also Jacques Prévert, Louis Aragon, Paul Eluard, Charles Baudelaire …

Those French melodies that always find the way to my heart, even in the saddest moments,

and make my life almost bearable …
